Problem

• User is facing issue for sampler, using toolkit plugin, sampler status shown as script completed with error.
  Error message looks like below:
  

  <Tue Oct 26 07:07:40> ERROR: TOOLKIT2 shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
  shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory

Possible Cause(s)

• Root Cause: The script has a command that is trying to access parent directories but has no access or directory/file does not exists.

Possible Solution(s)

• Solution Root Cause: Kindly check the script and ensure that Netprobe user has appropriate access to execute the commands and scripts.

  Prerequisites

  The following requirements must be met prior to the configuration and setup of the Toolkit plug-in:

  • Netprobe must have the appropriate access to execute the commands and scripts.
  • Results of the commands and scripts must be to standard output (stdout).
  • Results must be in the custom comma separated values (CSV) format.
