Problem
- Your Geneos licence is about to expire and you didn't receive a renewed licence.
Possible Cause(s)
- Your licence has not been marked for renewal.
- Your licence is pending of renewal of a contract.
- Your licence has been sent to the nominated person.
- Your licence might be marked to be requested personally by the business unit.
Possible Solution(s)
- Check with the licence owner (the original requester within the contract) hasn't received the licence in their email. We normally renew automatically the licences 45 days prior expiration date and send it to the original owner if they are within a validity of the contracts periods.
- Contact with Client Services making sure you provide us with
- hostname of the machine running your licence daemon (run in the terminal the command 'hostname' and provide the output).
- hostid of the machine running your licence daemon (run in the terminal the command 'hostid' and provide the output)
NOTE: The licence process for new licences or renewals can take up to 48 hours
