Under the process sampler, navigate to the Advanced tab, locate the process filter section below, and declare the options as "username." Add "root" as a value. This will exclusively display processes owned by the root user and disregard processes owned by the other user processes.

You can also filter this by instance count by changing the displaymode to summary only:
