Problem:

There had been limitations in older operating systems as well as in Geneos versions.

Solution:

In Geneos GA5.5, the Processes plugin has been tested to work for process names with over 10,000 characters. The fix number is COL-1402 (Processes plugin can now handle long arguments in Linux and AIX). Users who are encountering similar issues should upgrade the Netprobe version.
