Overview:
This article is written for users interested in the alert integration between ITRS Analytics and Geneos. We have provided general pointers to verify the connection is working properly.
Possible Solutions:
- Solution Root Cause 1:
ITRS Analytics is generally recommended to be used with Geneos GA7.x at a minimum. Users are encouraged using up-to-date versions with the latest fixes and enhancements. Please check out the Release Notes for details.
- Solution Root Cause 2:
Users can enable the ITRS Analytics Connection plugin to monitor the connection status and errors.
The gateway log also records the statistics every 10 minutes.

You can check "dropped" counters for specific messages and review the history.
- Solution Root Cause 3:
There is an Alerting app available in ITRS Analytics. Users can use this to examine and filter for specific datapoints that they are interested in. This provides the information needed to cross check with Active Console and log files as desired.
