Geneos - How to get the OS, Gateway and Netprobe versions without going to the server

You can use the Active Console to find this information easily.

Here are the steps:

  1. Connect to the Gateway you are working on in the Active Console.
  2. Go to the Active Console (dataview area), then hit Ctrl+F (This will bring up the Search window as seen below).
  3. Select the "Probe" option under "Search for:", enter the netprobe name on the "With name:" field and click "Search".

4. Close the Search window then check the "Search Results" pane. From there, you can check the Netprobe, Gateway, and OS version.
