I have configured an FKM sampler but it is not appearing in my dataview, there is no information in the NetProbe log file that is present. One of the reasons may be that a special character / non ascii character has somehow been pasted into the sampler configuration.
You should check the Gateway Log file for messages. Something like the below will indicate an issue:

ProbeManager Xslt Transformation Error: Invalid bytes in character encodingTo workaround this you should do the following:
- Delete the sampler config
- Restart the netprobe
- Create a fresh sampler config, do not paste existing information from an external source
