This happens when the dashboards are not being referenced anymore in the config.xml.
This happens during a Web Dashboard upgrade; the dashboard path in the config.xml file is not updated to reflect the script path:
To prevent this, ensure that the dashboard path in the config.xml file is pointing to correct path before starting the Web Dashboard process. Better yet, follow the installation and upgrade steps mentioned in the Web Dashboard Reference Guide (https://resources.itrsgroup.com/docs/geneos/WebServer/index.html#upgrading-web-dashboard).
In case you want to try this behavior, follow the steps below:
Result: dashboard file gets deleted
