You can specify specific command names, including Gateway commands and user-defined commands, on authentication > roles > role > permissions > permission > command > names > name. It accepts user inputs as well as command names containing wildcard characters (* and ?) to match multiple command names at once.
Problem:
Some of the users are confused about how to add user-defined commands when restricting access on the Authentication -> Roles sections of the GSE.
Solution:
This option accepts user-defined inputs aside from the options using the drop-down button.
- You can also use wildcard characters (* and ?) to match multiple command names simultaneously. Or you can use the "Add New" button, which is found just below the "Names" setting, to add a new Command
Sample Configuration:
- Sample user-defined command named "os_release"
- Specifying "os_release" on authentication > roles > role > permissions > permission > command > names > name
- Result
