Problem

• Opsview no longer Supports SMS functionality out-of-the-box (by default) since 6.0 
• The SMS plugin acts similarly to the Moxa gateway used in OP5 Monitor. Both are likely third-party add-ons that extend Opsview's functionality to include SMS notifications.

For more information, please refer to the attached screenshot and pay close attention to the Warning.

Solution

• This plugin might allow you to integrate the SMSd component from OP5 Monitor into Opsview.
• SMSd is a software program responsible for handling SMS communication on a system. By incorporating it, the plugin bridges the gap between Opsview and SMS capabilities.
• You have an option to take the SMSd from OP5 Monitor and install it in Opsview. After that, you may use SMS modems, etc.
