Active Console is shipped with and uses its own JRE. There is generally no need to be concerned with what Java versions are running in the OS.
For users who may want to maintain their own Java version, please obtain the Active Console tagged as _no_jre, which has been available for GA7.3.1 and above on Windows. The supported Java versions are provided in the Geneos Compatibility Matrix.
Users can select the Help => About menu, then scroll down to locate the Java Version Information section.
