Geneos - Authentication - How to configure user permissions for modifying include files only

If the Rules section is in the Main Setup file,do the following:

1. In the Navigation pane, click Authentication.
   
2. On the right pane, click the Advanced tab.
3. Tick the check box of the Enable section permissions.
4. On the Navigation pane, create a new role through Roles.
5. Add a Sections permission and do the following configurations:
   1. Allow: choose Selected ; 
   2. Sections Path: set to Rules
      
6. Add a Setup permission and do the following configurations:
   1. Tick the Main file check box
   2. Access: set to Apply;
   3. Locking: set to None
      
7. Assign a User to the Role created

On the other hand, if the Rules section is in an include file, do the following:

1. Follow steps #1 to #6  in the previous instruction above.
2. Add another Setup permission with the following configuration:
   1. Add include.xml location path to File section of Setup (ie. /home/gelo/gateway.setup.7039.include.xml) ; 
   2. Access: set to Apply 
   3. Locking: set to None
   
3. Assign a User to the Role created
