There are several locations in FKM plugin where users can configure an Active Time option. In general, users should set the Active Time on the FKM File or FKM Table itself. |

SolutionIn order to stop the incoming false alerts from triggering, you need to set the Active Time on the FKM File or FKM Table itself. As seen in the following screenshot:
Setting an Active Time here will mean that the file will continue to be read, but the file has no table to react to. Therefore, no triggers would be produced during the inactive state, eliminating any false alerts. |

Don'tBackground Example If an Active Time of 09:30 - 16:00 is instead configured at the FKM Sampler's Advanced tab, it will make the whole FKM sampler to pause after 16:00. The file pointer recorded by FKM plugin stays at this point while the sampler is inactive. If there is an error pattern written to the monitored file during the inactive period (e.g. 16:03), when FKM plugin resumes at 09:30 the next day, FKM will continue to read from the previous file pointer and trigger a (false) alert. |
