Geneos - Disk - ERROR: Failed to execute Linux Disk - plugin DISK timed out

Problem: Encountering errors with disk sampling:

DEBUG: DISK:<diskname> Skipping. NFS Partition (<partition path>) is not included in the list
ERROR: Failed to execute Linux Disk - plugin DISK timed out

It appears that the disk sampler is encountering difficulties retrieving stat values for specific NFS partitions (as illustrated above). Subsequently, the disk sampler times out.

Solution: 

Attempt to exclude the problematic "partition path" and observe if the Disk sampler provides an output.

If this does not solve the problem, kindly send the following for further investigation:

1. If the Netprobe crashes after the disk sampler timed out it will generate a core file, kindly send us the core file.

2. The XML file of the Disk sampler 

3. A screenshot of the Disk dataview showing full context of all columns

4. The command output from the netprobe host:     cat  /etc/mtab

5. Run the "df" command and check how long it takes to query for all partitions, including NFS share(s).
