Problem

• Error in rules. The rule code block is greyed out.
  Error message looks like below:

// This rule is not supported by the 'geneos' language for the following reasons:
// 1. Information would be lost during conversion"

Possible Cause(s)

• Root Cause: When this happens, it typically means there is some illegal format in the rule block.

Possible Solution(s)

• Solution Root Cause: Try to put your rule into xml mode and then removed everything between the block tags. After manually typing back the rule statements in the rule block and see if this fixed the error.
