Sometimes in a dashboard its useful to display a list of data items (Managed Entities, cells, data views and so on) that match a given path. That path may have been used in a modifier on the same dashboard. If you want to display the matching items at any given time it can be done as a comma separated list by using the 'label linked to data item name'. See below for more details. It is also possible to display data views on dashboards, but it is not easy to do, or easy to maintain, so not normally recompensed

By way of example to display a comma separated list of matching items try the following: 1) Drag a rectangle onto a dashboard 2) Drag an entity on to the rectangle and select the 'Label linked to data item name' modifier. The label will update with the name of the entity. 3) now go into the properties of the dashboard object, and the modifier you just added, and change the path to match more than one entity. Generally this will be removing the explicit name of the entity, then leaving it wild carded (blank), or adding a severity etc. When you accept these changes the modifier will now match a number of entities, the names of which will be listed in the rectangle as a comma separated list. An example of this application can be seen below where the warning and critical data views that are driving the count of severity is shown next to the alert
