Geneos - My dashboard object properties keep reverting back to their previous settings, why is this happening?

If you are editing dashboard object properties (such as text, colour etc) and the values you provide keep reverting to previous values, or reverting after a reload of the workspace, then it is possible that there are modifiers present on the object which are being applied after your change and affecting these same properties.

To check for this, right-click on the affected dashboard object, select properties and navigate to the modifiers section. If there are one or more modifiers configured to affect the same property as you are changing then it will revert when the connected data items change, or the workspace is reloaded. 

To correct this, remove the modifier, or create a new basic shape that has no modifiers present
