Geneos - How to read a file in Windows using the Toolkit plug-in

You cannot run the "type" command directly from Toolkit since it relies on the cmd.exe shell. In other words, it is a built-in cmd shell command.

To use the "type" command, you need to invoke cmd.exe first then call "type". See example below:

C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /c type <full path to your file>
