When you use the Gateway Setup Editor to update rule blocks, it allows you to format the rule in any way you want. I.E. you can add spaces, extra lines, brackets, and white space as you see fit. However, when saving the configuration it converts this rule into XML, and passes it to the gateway. The conversion to XML enforces a formatting standard, which means any user defined formatting which does not conform is removed. This behavior is not configurable, so the formatting will always occur. |
