The orchestrator is the heart and brain of your Opsview environment. Among other things, the orchestrator:
- manages configuration
- hosts the Nginx webserver which provides the UI
- creates and distributes collection plans
- functions as a collector
- load balances connections to the Opsview database
In a word, it orchestrates your Opsview environment.
The orchestrator is always in its own collector cluster called Master Monitoring Server.
