This occurs when the Netprobe runs in a directory with a parenthesis in its name (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)) using the version 10 or Oracle where this bug could not parse the ( symbol.
The temporary solution to this is to move the sjsoft-j5 directory out of your current directory or upgrade to the latest version of Oracle database.
