Yes, this is possible by using variable name for active time, which can be set via GSE > Managed Entities > Advanced Tab > Var |
![]() |
To attain this, the Active Time must be a variable, and this variable must be applied for each ME. For instance, you have 2 ME's, and for this particular example we will call them ME1 and ME2. Via GSE > Managed Entities folder, you will find ME1 and ME2 Managed Entities Folder ME1 ME2 On each ME, there is an advanced tab which contain several fields, one of which is called "Var", a place holder for a certain value. For Name cell, key in the word best describes your variable, in this example we are going to call it "UNIVERSAL". For options, choose "activeTime" from the drop down list. For the Active Time cell, we will assign "AT1" for "ME1"; assign "AT2" for "ME2". Click on the green arrow and set the scheduled time you wish for each Active Time ME1's Active Time ME2's Active Time As for your RULE, go to the advance tab, where the "Active time" cell can be found, choose "var" and use the value we assigned earlier, which is "UNIVERSAL". "UNIVERSAL" variable would point to AT1 for ME1; and on the other hand, "UNIVERSAL" variable would point to AT2 for ME2, thereby having different schedule for each ME Rule's Basic Tab Rule's Advanced Tab
After saving the configuration, similar data view would be the result of which ME1 Cell is highlighted in RED, meaning the RULE is within the Active Time window and that the RULE's critical condition was sufficed.
ME2 In the above screencap, the cell is highlighted in BLUE, indicating that the RULE is currently inactive (outside Active Time period) |
