It is recommended to use recent version of Netprobe and Linux kernel. In Netprobe version GA3.1 (PLI-1672) and above, the Network plugin can now use APIs/system files if available. The Linux kernel should be at version 2.6.33 or above, or please check if /sys/class/net file system is present. For older versions of Netprobe or Linux kernel, please ensure that the Netprobe user can run "ethtool" command with appropriate path and permission. Depending on the OS setup, it might be needed to configure with sudo access. |
